Operations Analysis: KDMH Systems personnel come into your facility to perform a detailed site inspection and evaluation. The purpose of this phase is to identify customer needs, problems, conduct site and operational inspections, collect all data required. The majority of this effort is done in conjunction with customer personnel.

System Design: The System Design effort begins after the data collection is complete. Goals are to identify space and equipment requirements, specify process enhancements, evaluate the interfacing equipment, identify new equipment, and develop an implementation strategy. All the data collected will be used to achieve these goals. The System Design process includes; developing preliminary “solutions” for review, developing process enhancement operating procedures, plan view, elevation, and detail drawings. The final stage is to complete a proposal for presentation along with investments, and a master schedule that will show estimated time frames and milestones based upon construction time frame.

Specification Development: Develop and present a detailed proposal including operational functions and designs, equipment recommendations with specifications, general scope of work for subcontractors. Additional tasks include; preparing detailed system blueprints as required in proposal, prepare and present investment and returns summary in proposal. prepare project time table in proposal and decide on next step for all parties, develop and deliver subcontractor bid packages for approval and distribution, provide subcontractor selections for approval, review all bids with customer and select preferred vendor, conduct post award meeting with all sub contractors and customer, assist in ordering all equipment, provide total system project management, supervise the installation of the equipment, test the system, supervise training and review operation manuals and finally receive project acceptance.

Strategic Facility Planning: We prefer to work with our clients during the “green field” stage as it allows us influence to the final facility design. This is most apparent with regards to column spacing, ceiling height for sprinklers for maximizing cube utilization, floor thickness and flatness conditions, and minimizing utility demands. This business relationship allows us to minimize capital investments without sacrificing internal system performances.

Productivity Enhancements: KDMH provides process analysis including time studies, work sampling and other labor maximization tools from a consulting position.

Property Management: Services include coordination of all interior and exterior maintenance and repairs and assist in planning capital improvements for the property.

Safety Evaluations: KDMH has professionals that can review and evaluate your current warehouse for general safety procedures and equipment conditions. With over 20 years of experience in the warehousing industry, we have worked with many companies to establish and maintain a safe work environment.

Mechanical Installation: Mechanical installation services are provided by KDMH personnel or those from an approved subcontractor list. Our installation teams are dedicated to installing your equipment safely & correctly. Our installation teams are experienced, qualified, and equipped to complete any job. Installations are supervised by an on-site foreman and supported by project managers.

Electrical Installation: Electrical installation services are provided by licensed and pre-approved subcontractors. These installation teams are dedicated to installing your equipment safely & correctly. The installation teams are experienced, qualified, and equipped to complete any job. Installations are supervised by an on-site foreman and supported by project managers.

Control Systems: KDMH has the capabilities to design and supply control systems that are either PC or PLC controlled. Many of our systems use Windows based software and non of our systems use priority parts. Our control systems are designed with the intent of low maintenance, internet diagnostics and 24-hour service line on most systems.
